I'm starting to notice a winter pattern going on here... Once again I was not feeling well and was not able to go out in support/ to take photos. Mom went with us to this one again, and wanted to go out that morning to spectate, but Matt kinda snuck out that morning without waking anyone up!
This particular race was up in Dallas. We have several family members who live in Fort Worth. Matt ran this race with 2 of my cousins. Matt ran the 15k while the others ran the 5k.
These results of his are amazing to me! 25th in his age group and he maintained about an 8 minute mile per hour pace! All his hard work and training has paid off!
Afterwards we all met up for breakfast and then headed to Fort Worth to see other family members. On our way out we stopped by to see Matt's sister who recently moved to a suburb of Dallas. The further we are the less we see each other. So this was a nice visit.
